    Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has officially broken the franchise’s single-player record on Steam, achieving an impressive peak of over 40,000 concurrent players. This milestone not only surpasses its predecessor, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which peaked at around 14,000 players, but also outstrips Final Fantasy 16’s peak of over 27,000 players. The only title with a higher player count remains Final Fantasy 14, boasting 95,000 players.

    Positive Reception on Steam

    The reception for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has been largely favorable among players. According to SteamDB, approximately 77.4% of the reviews are positive, indicating that the PC port is being well-received by the gaming community.
